Job summary

Corewell Health Children’s Hospital – Royal Oak seeks a BE/BC Child Advocacy and Protection Physician to join our team. This role focuses on evaluating suspected physical and sexual abuse, as well as neglect, in both outpatient and inpatient settings within a leading Southeast Michigan pediatric network.

The physician will participate in education and supervision of residents, fellows, and students, and engage in ongoing teaching activities across Grand Rounds and related conferences, while

Qualifications

• BE/BC Child Abuse Pediatrics required.
• Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suspected physical and sexual abuse and neglect.
• Provide medical assessments in outpatient clinic and inpatient unit.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and state/local committees.
