Banner University Medical Group and the University of Arizona Division of Pediatrics invite applications for a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our academic team. The physician will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona and collaborate with multidisciplinary subspecialties.

This role emphasizes teaching, mentoring, and participation in research, quality improvement, and community outreach, with a strong nursing staff and a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Arizona medical license by start date.
• Board certification in Pediatrics required.
• Completed Pediatric Rheumology Fellowship with subspecialty certification.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary subspecialties (Primary Care, Hospitalists, IM, Radiology, Pathology, GI, Hematology/Oncology).
• Maintain clinical duties 8–5, Monday to Friday.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, community outreach, and leadership activities.
