Job summary

Indiana University School of Medicine in conjunction with IU Health Medical Group is recruiting an academic pediatric pathologist to serve the pediatric patient population of Indiana.

The ideal candidate will join a growing team of experienced pediatric pathologists based at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, with access to a large subspecialized faculty and opportunities to teach students, residents and fellows while supporting growth in

Qualifications

• Must be certified in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Must be BC/BE in Pediatric Pathology.
• Must qualify for licensure in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional diagnostic services comprising of anatomic pathology.
• Provide diagnostic services for pediatric autopsy and perinatal pathology.
• Provide on-call coverage and conference support with department faculty members.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical care team.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Support needs of rapidly growing pediatric divisions, including prominent pediatric GI service.
• Support pediatric oncology service with emerging Precision Genomics.
