Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY seeks an attending pediatric neurosurgeon with solid clinical and academic experience to join the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The candidate will have an actively practicing clinical role and will work with residents in the ORs and inpatient units.

The successful candidate will staff clinics, participate in the call schedule, teach learners, and pursue trials and research aligned with career goals.

Qualifications

• MD and residency completed in neurological surgery.
• ABNS Board Eligible/Board Certified and NY license obtainable.
• Preferred fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery; training/experience in Epilepsy & Movement Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Staff neurosurgery clinics and/or faculty practice as assigned.
• Participate in call schedule and supervise Neurosurgery patients; perform emergency and elective surgeries.
• Teach residents, fellows, students and others.
