Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a full-time Pediatric Neurologist to join the Neuroscience Center. You will provide general pediatric neurology care, participate in teaching, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across satellite locations in Delaware and Maryland.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Neurology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Delaware medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Academic accomplishments consistent with appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training preferred.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and caring for medically complex pediatric patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient attending coverage and participate in shared call responsibilities.
• Conduct outpatient general pediatric neurology clinics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams caring for children with complex neurological conditions.
• Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and other learners.
• Participate in quality improvement, program development, and research initiatives.
• Contribute to the continued growth and advancement of pediatric neurology services across the region.
