Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking Pediatric Infectious Diseases physicians to join the Division of Infectious Diseases in Phoenix, AZ. The role includes inpatient consults, outpatient ID clinic, and teaching medical students, residents and clinical fellows.

The successful applicant will be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric ID and participate in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric infectious diseases.
• Commitment to patient care and trainee education.
• Clinical faculty appointments at UA College of Medicine with potential collaboration with Mayo Clinic-Scottsdale and Creighton University.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care for pediatric ID.
• Teach medical students, residents and clinical fellows.
• Engage in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and transplant programs as appropriate.
• Support divisional goals and participate in research opportunities.
