UT Health San Antonio invites applications for an Open Rank Pediatric Gastroenterologist. The tenure-track faculty position (Assistant or Associate Professor) offers 100% effort with a focus on clinical care, teaching, and potential leadership in establishing a fellowship program.

Board-certified/eligible candidates with Texas license eligibility are encouraged to apply, with liver transplant experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in pediatric gastroenterology.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license or eligible.
• Liver transplant experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attend the Pediatric Gastroenterology service and provide high-quality clinical care.
• Engage in teaching for medical students and residents.
• Participate in the development of a fellowship training program and potential leadership roles.
• Contribute to clinical trials, translational and basic research as available.
