Job summary

ACHE is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to provide outpatient consultations and participate in regional endoscopy services within an academic faculty setting. You will advance care for children with GI, liver, and nutritional conditions, and contribute to research and teaching.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Board certification in Pediatrics.
• Accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship required.
• South Carolina medical license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultations for children with gastrointestinal, nutritional and liver conditions.
• Perform pediatric endoscopy through the regional hospital network.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, advanced practice providers, dietitians and fellows.
• Participate in clinical research with support from a dedicated departmental research team.
• Teach future leaders in pediatric care.
• Contribute to development of the pediatric gastroenterology program.
