Job summary

The Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville continues to grow and expand. We are seeking to hire two full-time academic anatomic pathologists. This position offers some flexibility in scheduling and may be filled at 0.8 to 1.0 FTE.

Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and academic achievements. The successful candidate will join a team of accomplished faculty, promote scholarly activities and engage in graduate and undergraduate

Qualifications

MD, DO, or equivalent.
Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology.
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Epic EMR experience is preferred.
Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
ACLS/BLS Certification

Responsibilities

Promote the academic mission, including scholarly activities and participation in graduate and undergraduate medical education.
Engage in one or more practice areas: medical renal, thoracic/lung, gynecologic, head and neck pathology, cytopathology, dermatopathology.
Collaborate with a team of faculty to foster a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive environment and provide education and clinical service.
Be board-certified in anatomic or combined anatomic and clinical pathology and be qualified for an unrestricted medical license in Kentucky.
