The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas seeks an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join its expanding Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This academic faculty opportunity offers a balance of advanced clinical work, resident education, and ongoing research activity.

Qualified candidates will hold a DDS/DMD, complete an OMS residency, be board-certified, and be eligible for a Texas dental license.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from CODA-accredited dental school (US/Canada).
• Completed OMS residency (CODA-accredited).
• Board certification in OMS.
• Texas dental license eligibility.
• Fellowship in TMJ/orthognathic surgery preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Practice a broad spectrum of advanced OMS procedures.
• Teach and mentor residents and students in a four-year OMS residency program.
• Contribute to active research programs including multi-institutional trials.
• Help drive program growth in TMJ, craniofacial, and cosmetic surgery.
