Job summary

The candidate should be a graduate of a U.S. accredited School of Optometry, have NBEO, and hold an Ohio license. Residency in ocular disease or contact lens care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a United States accredited School of Optometry.
• Must have passed NBEO exam.
• Current, full, unrestricted license to practice optometry in Ohio.
• Residency training in ocular disease or contact lens care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical optometry care at University Hospitals Eye Institute and satellite clinics.
• Engage in didactic and clinical teaching for students and residents.
• Participate in clinical research opportunities at UH/Cleveland Medical Center.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology and optometry teams to promote patient care and education.
