Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist to serve as a residency preceptor in an outpatient-only setting. The role combines clinical care with teaching residents in a thriving academic program.

Ideal candidates will have strong outpatient experience, a minimum of five years in OB/GYN, and an interest in academic medicine, with a situation focusing on outpatient care and resident mentorship.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in OB/GYN.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN.
• Demonstrated teaching experience and strong interest in academic medicine.
• Extensive outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Precepting: Supervise and mentor residents in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Provide guidance on patient care, clinical decision-making, and professional development.
• See patients in the office and precept residents during clinic sessions.
• Outpatient office only; maintain a 50/50 split between OB and GYN care with no delivery responsibilities.
• Schedule & Call: No call responsibilities; Primarily outpatient with limited minor surgical procedures.
