Job summary

University of Maryland Capital Region Health seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrician–Gynecologist to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient women’s health care. The role includes labor & delivery, emergency OB/GYN, inpatient care, and ambulatory services within a growing academic-affiliated system focused on quality, safety, and community care.

The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage obstetric and gynecologic patients across the full continuum of care, combining

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for or active Maryland medical license.
• Strong clinical competency in inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage obstetric and gynecologic patients across the full continuum of care.
• Provide in-house labor and delivery coverage and cesarean sections.
• Evaluate and treat inpatient and outpatient GYN conditions; provide ED and inpatient consultations.
• Deliver preventive care counseling and patient education in ambulatory settings.
• Participate in scheduled backup coverage and academic activities.
