Riverside Health Medical Group in Newport News, Virginia, seeks an Obstetrics/GYN Faculty Generalist to join our residency program as a leader in teaching, mentoring and scholarly activity while delivering excellent patient care.

You will supervise obstetric and gynecologic services, prenatal care including high-risk pregnancies, gyn surgery, deliveries and breastfeeding support, while fostering resident education and compassionate, evidence-based practice across community and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from LCME- or COCA-accredited medical school.
• Interpersonal and teaching skills for residency education.
• Commitment to safety, quality and evidence-based medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational experience enabling residents to practice independently.
• Teach, mentor and supervise OB/GYN residents in clinic and hospital settings.
• Contribute to scholarship and educational leadership within the residency program.
