Job summary

UT Health San Antonio invites applications for a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our Radiology Department as a full-time faculty member from Assistant Professor to Professor rank. The role includes on‑site clinical service across affiliated facilities, teaching medical students, and supervising residents and fellows.

Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, with dual certification preferred; Texas medical license or ability to obtain it

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine; dual board certification preferred.
  • Texas State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Strong record in education and research is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services at UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, UT Medicine, and affiliated facilities; cover Nuclear Medicine night and weekend and ER weekend as needed.
  • Teach medical students and supervise residents and fellows.
  • Engage in education and research activities with department and campus collaborators.
