Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center invites applications for a part-time subspecialty trained Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging faculty member in the Division of Nuclear Medicine within Radiology.

The appointment is 0.5 FTE with potential for remote workdays and flexible scheduling. The successful candidate will interpret diagnostic adult and pediatric studies, perform radioactive therapies, and contribute to teaching and interdisciplinary research with our center for NMR and MRI

Qualifications

• Subspecialty fellowship in nuclear medicine required.
• CAQ in nuclear medicine from ABR or ABNM certification or eligibility.
• Experience interpreting diagnostic adult and pediatric nuclear medicine exams and performing radioactive therapies.
• Interest in oncologic imaging/theranostics or neuromolecular imaging.
• Strong teaching and collaboration with research centers desired.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic adult and pediatric nuclear medicine exams and perform radioactive therapeutic procedures.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary clinical research with Penn State Center for NMR Research and MRI Core Research facility.
• Engage in teaching medical students, residents, fellows and staff as part of a scholarly academic mission.
