Job summary

A leading university in healthcare education is seeking a full-time academic non-invasive general cardiologist. Responsibilities include participation in inpatient cardiology consults, teaching medical students and residents, and providing administrative leadership. Candidates should have a Doctoral/Medical degree and be board certified/eligible in general cardiology, with strong teaching and clinical skills. Additional experience in non-invasive cardiology techniques is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary and the chance to contribute to both teaching and academic research.

Qualifications

• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• Experience with exercise testing, ECG interpretation, and consulting.
• Two years’ experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inpatient general cardiology consult service.
• Mentor medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows.
• Provide academic advising and represent the university/department as required.

Skills

Expertise in hypertension management

Board certified/eligible in general cardiology

Teaching experience

Experience in adult non-invasive assessment

Education

Doctoral/Medical degree

Full, unrestricted Florida Medical License
