Job summary

WVU Heart & Vascular Institute in Princeton, WV seeks non-invasive cardiologists for faculty appointments at Assistant, Associate or Professor levels. The role includes teaching medical students and residents, participating in clinical research, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Successful candidates must hold an MD or DO, be board certified/eligible in cardiology, and may pursue imaging certifications. Some travel to other WV sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; eligible for state medical license.
• Board certified in internal medicine; board certified/eligible in cardiology.
• Imaging modality certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, CT or MRI.
• Active involvement in teaching students, residents and fellows.
• Willingness to travel to additional worksites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services as part of WVU Heart & Vascular Institute.
• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows.
• Engage in clinical research opportunities.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists and vascular specialists.
• Travel to additional worksites as required.
