Job summary
Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Health System is seeking an academic non-invasive cardiologist (Assistant, Associate or full Professor) to join our growing team in New York's Capital Region. The role encompasses general/preventive cardiology with CCU/inpatient duties and opportunities to specialize in CMR/CT or echocardiography within an academic setting.
The successful candidate will teach students, residents, and fellows, participate in clinical/translational research, and collaborate
Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular diseases.
- Training and/or experience in CMR/CT or preventive cardiology is strongly desired.
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
Responsibilities
- General/Preventive cardiology office-based practice.
- CCU and inpatient consult service duties.
- Focus on cardiovascular MRI, CT and/or echocardiography based on training/experience.
- Academic environment with teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows.
- Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical/translational research.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians.
