Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an experienced spine neurosurgeon to join the CHI Health Bergan Mercy team. You will provide comprehensive general and complex spine neurosurgery services in a hospital setting, collaborating with learners from Creighton University School of Medicine, and participating in an academically oriented program.

You will be board eligible or board certified in Neurosurgery, with opportunities to contribute to research, teaching, and patient-centered care, while enjoying

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• BE/BC in Neurosurgery.
• Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska.
• DEA Certification.
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general and complex spine neurosurgery services.
• Collaborate with learners, residents and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Cover primary & backup call shifts and inpatient care at CUMC Bergan Mercy Hospital.
• Possibly cover outpatient clinic when on backup call.
• Foster academic research and participate in an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
