Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks a full-time Neuropsychologist to provide specialized assessments for adult and geriatric neurosurgical patients.

You will contribute to candidacy evaluations, pre- and post-operative planning, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team. The role offers an academic appointment commensurate with experience, opportunities for teaching and research, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with Neuropsychology specialization.
• APA-accredited internship completed; postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship preferred.
• PA licensure or eligibility; ABPP-CN board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuropsychological assessments for adults and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation.
• Contribute to surgical candidacy decisions through cognitive and emotional assessments.
• Plan post-operative cognitive care and follow-up in multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, rehab specialists and social workers.
• Document findings clearly in electronic medical records; participate in QA and research.
