Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Neurohospitalist for an all-inpatient role across Moses and Weiler campuses. This position emphasizes academic medicine, bedside teaching, and high-acuity inpatient neurology care within a major NYC academic health system.

Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible in Neurology, with NY licensure eligibility, and a commitment to education and collaborative, team-based care. No outpatient duties are included.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York.
• Committed to academic medicine and trainee education.
• Comfortable working in diverse care models (resident-led teams and PA-supported services).
• Skilled in managing high-acuity inpatient neurologic conditions.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Rotate weekly through Moses and Weiler campuses to deliver inpatient neurologic care.
• Lead a general neurology inpatient team and teach neurology residents.
• Supervise a PA-supported primary neurology service.
• Provide General Neurology Consult Service and Attending-only consults.
• Support resident-based teaching consult service.
