OU Health in Oklahoma City invites applications for a Nephrologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor level in the Department of Medicine. This full-time clinician-educator position emphasizes patient care, teaching, and research within a premier academic medical center.

Candidates must be MD, board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, be eligible for Oklahoma licensure, and demonstrate excellence in clinical care, education, and scholarship.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (MD or equivalent).
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Oklahoma.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
• Preferred: collaboration across disciplines and collegial academic environment.
• Preferred: experience in medical education and/or clinical research.
• Preferred: interest in quality improvement, population health, or health disparities research.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nephrology services including CKD, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders.
• Supervise dialysis and renal transplant patients; participate in inpatient/outpatient consultations.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows; contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in independent or collaborative research and present at meetings.
• Participate in departmental committees and quality improvement initiatives.
