Job summary

VCU Health’s Department of Radiology in Richmond, VA seeks a Musculoskeletal Radiologist to provide subspecialized imaging interpretation and interventions using state-of-the-art equipment. The role is full-time and includes training residents and fellows within an academic setting.

The ideal candidate will hold ABR certification or have passed the Core Component, complete fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging, and be eligible for Virginia medical licensure and permanent employment in the USA.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to foster an environment of professionalism and civility with faculty, staff or students from diverse backgrounds.
• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging.
• Eligible for Virginia medical license and permanent USA employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality subspecialized musculoskeletal imaging interpretations (radiographs, US, CT, MR).
• Perform musculoskeletal interventions as needed.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows rotating through the department.
• Collaborate with Orthopedic Surgery to foster interdisciplinary research.
