Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in the Phoenix area seeks an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to expand our academic-affiliated division and mentor the next generation of clinicians.

The role offers complex clinical work, advanced fetal imaging, and opportunities for research, program development, and teaching within a collaborative team including genetic counselors, nurses, and sonographers.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
• Completion of accredited Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure
• Ability to obtain full and unrestricted medical staff privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
• Commitment to collaborative, evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Interest in participating in the educational mission of the division

Responsibilities

• Outpatient MFM consultation and co-management
• Advanced obstetric ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis
• Fetal growth assessment and Doppler surveillance
• Fetal echocardiography and evaluation of fetal anomalies
• Management of complex maternal medical and obstetric conditions
• Prenatal diagnostic procedures
• Inpatient MFM consultation
• Multidisciplinary care planning
• Collaboration with OB/GYN, neonatology, anesthesia, and other specialists
• Call responsibilities approximately one week per month
• Participation in education of fellows, residents, students, sonographers, and other professionals
