Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group – Phoenix seeks a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to advance its growing Women’s Health program in the greater Phoenix area. The role blends clinical complexity with academic influence, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine – Phoenix.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency and an accredited Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical licensure.
• Ability to obtain full and unrestricted medical staff privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
• Commitment to collaborative, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Interest in participating in the educational mission of the division.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation and co-management.
• Advanced obstetric ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis.
• Fetal growth assessment and Doppler surveillance.
• Fetal echocardiography and evaluation of fetal anomalies.
• Management of complex maternal medical and obstetric conditions.
• Prenatal diagnostic procedures.
• Inpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultation.
• Multidisciplinary maternal and fetal care planning.
• Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians, OB hospitalists, neonatology, pediatric subspecialists, anesthesia, critical care, and other specialists.
• Call responsibilities are shared equitably among the Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians and are currently approximately one week per month.
