Job summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks four full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to provide comprehensive health care in inpatient and ambulatory settings, including teaching residents and medical students.

These roles emphasize leadership in education and scholarship within a new academic division, with a consultative care model and flexible work/life program.

Qualifications

MD or DO required.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Consultative model allowing Maternal Fetal Medicine to attend deliveries if preferred but not required.
Supported by 6 APPs, ARDMS certified sonographers, 2 diabetes educators, 2 perinatal nutritionists and a genetic counselor.
Work collaboratively with Children’s Hospital of Illinois and University of Illinois subspecialties.
Develop/deliver academic presentations.
Shared call.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
