Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a full-time academic Interventional Radiologist in the Department of Radiology, Vascular Interventional Section. The position is for ABR certified/eligible individuals at Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

Responsibilities include clinical duties, training of residents, and exposure to oncologic, transplant, and trauma IR across three hospitals, with multidisciplinary tumor boards and teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree or equivalent and Kentucky medical license eligibility.
• ABR certified or eligible.
• Academic appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties and training of Diagnostic Radiology residents.
• Procedural expertise in IR including angiography, angioplasty, stent placements, biopsies and drainages.
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards, trauma conferences and didactic lectures.
