Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Gastroenterologist to join our academic Gastroenterology team. This role offers an established, high-volume endoscopy practice and opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and collaboration with Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Interventional gastroenterology knowledge and clinical expertise.
• Ability to collaborate with academic partners and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced interventional endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) with inpatient and outpatient duties.
• Pursue faculty appointment and engage in teaching/mentoring medical students, residents, GI fellows, and APPs.
• Train and supervise the Interventional Gastroenterology Fellow in years four.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research with Virginia Tech and Fralin Biomedical Research Institute.
