Albany Med Health System is seeking a dedicated and dynamic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our ambulatory Internal Medicine academic practice. This role merges patient care with medical education and scholarship within a collaborative team.

You’ll engage with medical students and residents, contribute to the residency program supporting 54 residents, collaborate with the Alden March Bioethics Institute, and work with academic Hospitalist colleagues to enhance continuity care

Qualifications

• A clinician-educator passionate about linking patient care with education and scholarship.
• Experience in teaching primary care and evidence-based medicine at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• A strong commitment to resident and student education, with responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Engage with medical students (years 1-4), as well as physician assistant and pharmacy students.
• Collaborate with the Alden March Bioethics Institute and clinician educators.
