Job summary

All Angles Tutoring is a boutique virtual tutoring agency seeking multiple tutors to work with middle and high school students. The role involves scheduling weekly sessions, meeting with students via Zoom, and providing timely session notes.

Candidates should be communicative, organized, punctual, personable, and self-motivated. Ideal tutors have 1–2 years of private or agency tutoring experience, are comfortable with Zoom, and can tutor at least one listed subject (Math, Science, English).

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of private or agency tutoring experience.
• Experience remote tutoring/teaching online and familiarity with Zoom.
• Experience and confidence tutoring at least one of the subjects listed above.
• Priority will be given to tutors who have at least 1 year experience maintaining long relationships with private tutoring clients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule sessions with clients provided by All Angles Tutoring.
• During each session, help students on homework, test preparation and supplemental activities.
• Assign homework to be done out-of-session as needed.
• After each session, the tutor is responsible for sending session notes to the client and All Angles Tutoring within 24 hours detailing session activities and any other pertinent information.
• Tutor maintains day-to-day communications with clients, including any changes in schedule or availability.
• Tutor maintains timely communications with All Angles Tutoring regarding initial bookings and availability.

All Angles Tutoring is a boutique virtual tutoring agency based out of New York City. We provide services for students 3rd-12th grade, focusing on educational allyship for students throughout their academic career. We are looking for a tutor who enjoys fostering a connection with their students and looks to instill both academic and soft skills to ensure students are independent, successful young adults.

All Angles Tutoring is seeking multiple tutors to work with middle and high school students. We are looking for candidates with tutoring experience in one or more of the following subjects:

Subjects

• Math at the high school level
• Multi-subject support (e.g. Science and Math, Math and English, etc.) at the high school level

You will handle communication with assigned clients, including intake meetings with clients, scheduling weekly tutoring sessions, meeting with students regularly on Zoom, and providing timely session notes. We are looking for an individual who is communicative, organized, punctual, personable, and self-motivated.

• Tutors must have excellent emotional and social intelligence.
• A functioning computer, webcam, and reliable internet connection.
