Job summary

Groza Learning Center in the greater Los Angeles area is seeking a part-time Academic Tutor to support K-12 students in reading, math, science, social studies, and test prep. Tutors will work in-person at various locations with flexible hours August–June.

Design engaging, student-centered lesson plans, track progress, and communicate with families. The role emphasizes autonomy, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Teaching credentials are a plus.
• Minimum of two years of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with neurodiverse students.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a fun, upbeat personality.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Access to Internet, email, and electronic communications.
• Excellent references and ability to pass background check.

Job Type: Part-Time (August- June), In-Person, Grades K-12 available

Pay: $30-$50 per hour

Location:various locations in the greater Loa Angeles area

Requirements

Instructor Qualifications:
