Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing team in Abington, Pennsylvania. This role covers inpatient and outpatient ID care in a collaborative, academic environment within Jefferson Health.

The successful candidate will work with a team of ID specialists, hospitalists, surgeons, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Teaching and mentoring medical students and residents is a key component of the role, with a competitive

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Prior inpatient infectious disease experience preferred.
• Teaching, collaboration and academic medicine interest desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultation services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across departments.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in an academic setting.
