Job summary
Tower Health in West Reading is seeking an Academic Hospitalist for our Internal Medicine Residency program. This role involves both day and night shifts, engaging in teaching and supervision of residents, with 126 shifts a year and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have Internal Medicine Board Certification, ACLS certification, and teaching experience. Qualifications
- Candidates must have experience as a Chief Resident or 1+ year of teaching experience in a Hospitalist setting.
- Internal Medicine Board Certification and ACLS certification is required.
- A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.
Responsibilities
- Day shifts solely in teaching environment with controlled census.
- Supervise resident admissions and respond to Code Blue.
- Participate in faculty administrative time, teaching and mentoring.
