St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Internist Hospitalist to join our 25+ hospitalists in an academic teaching environment.

This full-time role blends inpatient medicine with resident education within a physician-led Hartford HealthCare system that supports teaching and subspecialty collaboration. Ideal candidates will participate in academic hospital medicine with residents, and pursue faculty appointment opportunities through Quinnipiac University,

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to teaching and academic engagement.
• Interest in scholarly activity (research, quality improvement, publications).

Responsibilities

• Participate in resident teaching and supervision.
• Provide inpatient internal medicine care with academic responsibilities.
• Engage in quality improvement, clinical education, and curriculum development.
