Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix seeks a BE/BC OB/GYN Hospitalist to join the expanding OB/GYN program in Phoenix, AZ. The selected candidate will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona, with generous academic benefits including tuition discounts for self and family.

The role involves service in High-Risk OB Hospitalist coverage, L&D collaboration, and residency supervision, with a flexible 1.0 FTE consisting of 91 24-hour shifts per year, and welcoming new graduates.

Qualifications

• Board certified or Board eligible in OB/GYNAZ with medical license obtained by start date.
• Residency supervision required.
• 1.0 FTE = (91) 24-hour shifts annually, with some flexibility in the FTE.
• Experience preferred but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the providers in the High-Risk Obstetric Hospitalist service, collaborating with L&D and MFM teams.
• Coverage of in-house High-Risk OB Hospitalist consults.
• Collaborative team player with a desire to practice in an academic setting.
