Job summary
University of Kansas Health System – Liberty Campus is seeking a full-time General/Headache Neurologist to join our academic neurology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general neurology care with a focus on headache diagnosis and management, while engaging in teaching, clinical research, and scholarly activities in a collaborative environment.
Appointment at KU School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree required for licensure and clinical practice.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care for general neurology patients with a focus on headache diagnosis and management.
- Perform inpatient consultations and supervise continuity clinics.
- Minimal on-call coverage as part of the Liberty team.
- Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research, including opportunities to participate in clinical trials.
