Job summary

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, seeks a board eligible/certified Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon for all ranks in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. MD or MD/PhD required; California licensure eligibility; Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship completed is expected.

Successful candidates will teach residents and medical students, contribute to scholarly activities, and participate in call at our Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD degree(s) required.
• Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship completed or in progress.
• California medical licensure eligibility required.
• Orthopaedic Board eligible/certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach orthopaedic residents and medical students.
• Participate in call at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Engage in scholarly activities and public service.
• Provide patient care in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery.
