Job summary

Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking an AP or AP/CP board-certified pathologist to participate in clinical services of Gynecological and/or Genitourinary pathology in an academic setting. Fellowship training in respective field is desirable, but not required, preferably with a second area of interest in AP.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) is required.
• Fellowship in Gynecologic or Genitourinary pathology desirable.
• Strong academic and teaching interest.
• Experience in an academic medical center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sign out GYN and/or GU pathology cases.
• Share AP call and non-forensic autopsy coverage (avg < 4 autopsies per pathologist per year).
• Teach residents, medical students and observers; participate in conferences.
• Engage in translational research and student teaching as interests allow.
