Job summary

The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology invites a full-time radiation oncologist with board eligibility/certification and specialized brachytherapy expertise focused on gynecologic malignancies. Opportunities exist to expand brachytherapy to other sites; strong teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• American Board of Radiology board eligible/certified radiation oncologist.
• Specialized expertise in brachytherapy and management of gynecologic malignancies.
• Experience with intracavitary, interstitial, and hybrid brachytherapy techniques.
• Involvement in teaching and participation in departmental conferences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with other services and relevant sites in the UHealth network.
• Participate in department academic and educational activities and teaching of learners.
• Lead morning teaching conferences and morbidity & mortality conferences.
• Present at weekly new patient conference and departmental/cancer center retreats.
• Deliver at least one department grand rounds yearly and lecture residents twice per year.
