Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted medical license required.
• Appointment at CWRU SOM level commensurate with experience.
• Fellowship training in some specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for a patient population.
• Prescribes medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Trains and supervises medical students and residents in specialty activities.
• May manage daily operations of a medical program or unit.
• Directs the patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
• Adheres to departmental policies and quality/safety standards.
• Participates in health promotion and education programs as applicable.
• Maintains faculty status with the CWRU SOM and meets physician obligations.
