Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking both part-time and full-time General Pediatricians to join the Division of Academic General Pediatrics, Newborn Medicine and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. The team serves infants to young adults across several primary care and teaching sites in San Diego, collaborating with students, residents, and fellows.

Successful candidates will teach and supervise trainees while delivering evidence-based care; flexible hours and locations support 24-hour needs.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required at time of application.
• California medical license or eligibility is required or determined by the Medical Board.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents in multiple sites.
• Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows; mentor trainees.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research efforts; participate in teaching.
• Flexible hours, shifts, on-call duties, and locations to meet the division's needs.
