Head Medical invites a General Paediatrician to join a joint academic appointment in Brockville, Ontario, partnering with Queen’s University. The role combines high-level clinical work with academic duties in a 172-bed hospital serving 250,000 residents, including labour/delivery coverage in a high-volume setting.

You will contribute to education and research while enjoying a supportive on-call schedule and a community-focused practice in the Thousand Islands region.

Qualifications

• MD degree (or equivalent) and postgraduate qualifications in general Paediatrics from Canada, the U.K. or the U.S.
• Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Preference for candidates with RCSPC certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert community-based paediatric care in outpatient clinics.
• Provide on-call and labour and delivery suite coverage on a 1-in-3 rotation.
• Contribute to medical education and research as a Queen’s University faculty member.
• Lead local quality improvement initiatives and participate in faculty committees.
• Foster patient-centred connections within the Brockville community.
