Job summary

Tufts Medical Center in Boston invites an Academic General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our department. You will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, teach medical students and residents, and contribute to education, research, and patient advocacy in an academically oriented environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for or currently hold a Massachusetts medical license
• Committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centered care
• Interested in practicing full-scope General Obstetrics and Gynecology within an academic environment
• Passionate about teaching and working with residents and medical students
• Collaborative, collegial and interested in contributing to the continued growth of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across the reproductive lifespan
• Build and grow your practice at Tufts Medical Center
• Care for patients across ambulatory and inpatient settings, including Labor & Delivery
• Manage routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic conditions with the support of an extensive network of subspecialists
• Perform general gynecologic procedures and surgery consistent with your training and clinical interests
• Practice alongside a strong team of physicians, RNs, APCs, and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Teach and mentor Tufts University School of Medicine students, OBGYN residents, and other advanced trainees
• Participate in the academic mission of the department through education, research, innovation, patient advocacy, and/or other scholarly activities based on your interests
• Help strengthen access to high-quality, compassionate reproductive healthcare for our diverse patient community
• Contribute to a collegial department culture centered on collaboration, mentorship, inclusion and professional growth
