Job summary

University of Michigan Medical School, Division of General Medicine, seeks board-certified/eligible physicians to join our expanding Academic Primary Care faculty in outpatient settings with teaching opportunities. The role includes patient care and potential involvement in population management and quality/safety activities.

Prior academic medical center experience is preferred; excellent benefits and compensation are offered, with potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and postgraduate clinical training.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate medical license in Michigan.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching is expected.
• Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting with teaching opportunities.
• Participate in patient care and teaching in our expanding Academic Primary Care Group.
