Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking an outstanding academic general internist to join our growing division in outpatient primary care with opportunities for limited inpatient duties based on interests and divisional needs.

Faculty participate in resident and medical student education and are encouraged to develop academic and clinical areas of focus, including education, quality improvement, leadership, or obesity and addiction

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient with limited inpatient responsibilities based on divisional needs.
• Faculty participate in resident and medical student education.
• Encourage development of academic and clinical areas of focus (education, research, quality improvement, leadership, obesity medicine, addiction medicine, gender-affirming care).

Education

MD/DO or equivalent
