Job summary

OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL seeks a General Cardiologist to join a growing practice within the Cardiovascular Institute. Ideal candidate will have an academic background in Cardiovascular Disease and enjoy teaching the next generation of Cardiologists.

We work with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to deliver comprehensive prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The position includes call 1-2 weeknights a month and 8-9 weekends per year, with a base

Qualifications

• Doctorate in medicine with board certification in cardiology or eligible.
• Illinois medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Academic background with teaching interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology care with emphasis on prevention and treatment of heart disease.
• Collaborate with OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and affiliated hospitals and clinics.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring residents and fellows.
