Job summary

University of Toledo Health and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences invite applications for a General Cardiologist in the Department of Medicine. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a full-time General Cardiologist at the tenure, or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

The ideal candidate has completed a Cardiovascular Fellowship and should be Board Certified/Eligible with expertise in non-invasive imaging (echo, TEE, nuclear

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited med school.
• Completion of an ACGME Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
• ABIM Cardiovascular Medicine certification or eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Weekly outpatient and imaging sessions, plus inpatient coverage as needed.
• Teach and train fellows, residents and students; participate in conferences.
• Develop an independent research focus aligned with department goals.
