Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Orangeburg, SC, seeks a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established group of 4 general surgeons. The candidate will develop a practice in a growing service area with support from hospital staff and MUSC’s Gastroenterology Division in Charleston.

The role offers collaboration across MUSC Health, with opportunities to teach residents and participate in an expanding health system. 100% outpatient with strong multidisciplinary support.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in GI.
• ERCP and EUS training/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse, high-acuity GI patient population with MUSC resources.
• 1:4 call schedule.
• Outpatient-focused practice with endoscopy lab and hospital-based support.
• Opportunity to teach residents and collaborate with gastroenterology division.
