The University of Maryland, Baltimore invites applications for an Academic Clinical Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology within the School of Medicine and the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Rank is Assistant Professor or higher and salary is commensurate with qualifications.

Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $225,865 (min) to $438,554 (max). The appointee will provide clinical service at multiple campuses and participate in teaching and research

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to patient care and teaching.
• Superior clinical and endoscopic skills.
• BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in teaching and research desirable.
• U.S. citizenship required for VA funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services at the University of Maryland Downtown, Midtown Campus, Baltimore VA Medical Center, and related practices and centers.
• Offer graduate instruction and direct graduate research as part of academic mission.
• Demonstrate service to the institution, community, and profession.
